Agate, Jasper and Amethyst – lovingly furnished holiday apartments in a quiet residential area on the edge of Ottobeuren. With a large garden, private terraces and views across meadows to the forest.

Agate, Jasper and Amethyst are named after gemstones – and each has a character all of its own. All three have a private bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and room for up to four guests.

Welcome
A home away from home – run with heart
A few years ago we – Gerry and Ivan – made a dream come true: holiday apartments where guests don't just stay the night but truly feel at home. Today we take care of every detail ourselves, from careful cleaning and a welcome drink in the fridge to transfers from Memmingen Airport.
Our house sits in a quiet residential area on the edge of Ottobeuren, surrounded by meadows, forest and a large garden with a pond. The famous basilica is just a few minutes away, and the mountains and lakes of the Allgäu are a short drive.

Ottobeuren & the Allgäu
Ottobeuren is a charming Kneipp spa town in the Unterallgäu, famous for its Benedictine abbey and magnificent basilica – a highlight of southern German Baroque. Walks, hikes and bike rides through meadows and forests start right at the door.
It is the ideal base for exploring the whole Allgäu: Memmingen, Kempten, Füssen with Neuschwanstein Castle and Lake Constance are all within easy reach, as are the region’s ski areas in winter. And with Memmingen Airport close by, we make a perfect stopover too.

Frequently asked questions
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 14:00 (Jasper and Amethyst until 23:30, Agate until 23:00) and check-out is until 11:00. Please let us know your expected arrival time in advance.
How does key handover work?
It's easy – via a key box. You'll receive all the details before you arrive, so you can arrive relaxed even late in the evening.
How can I book directly with you?
Just send us a WhatsApp message with your preferred apartment, dates and number of guests. We'll get back to you as quickly as possible with availability and the price.
Is there parking and EV charging?
Yes, free parking is right at the house. A charging station for electric cars is available – just let us know.
Are children welcome?
Absolutely! Children of all ages are welcome. We provide a baby cot free of charge on request; Amethyst also has a high chair and a playground.
Are bed linen and towels included?
Yes – freshly washed bed linen and towels await you for every stay.
Do you offer an airport transfer?
Yes. For a fee we'll pick you up from Memmingen Airport or station (approx. 12 km) and take you back again.
Can I bring my pet?
Unfortunately pets are not allowed in our apartments.
Is smoking or partying allowed?
All apartments are non-smoking. Parties, events and stag/hen parties are not permitted.
